Andrew, I am watching your elections from far away France; not so much because I choose to, but because it is shoved rather forcefully down our throats by the media. In less than a week we have had two people decapitated in our streets here by Muslim fundamentalists and yet, in comparison, what is happening in the US appears downright weird. Your piece really brings that home. Even after what has just taken place here, we aren't going out looking for Glocks or trying to get permits for concealed weapons. I often wonder if the so called 'greatest country in the world' has any idea how the rest of the world sees them. I suspect that if they did they would be quite embarrassed.
