I am a great used clothes supporter, but sadly I don't think this will save the planet for the simple reason that there are so many clothes in those charity shops in the first place. They are often almost new and get there very often due to the fact that their owner is making more space in their wardrobe to stock up with more new clothes. We become a kind of release valve for their consciences.
