In my opinion, what we are doing is the equivalent of watching the skinny kid get kicked around the playground by the local bully. We are egging the skinny kid on but don't want to step in in case the bully has a knife in his pocket. There is a point where pragmatism becomes cowardice and I think we have reached that point
