It could be argued( and I am sure will be) that every artist has stolen something from those that went before him,, and therefore AI is only doing this on a more efficient scale. I still cling to the belief that it takes a certain amount of soul to produce real creativity and therefore what artists are doing is sharing part of their souls. There again, as a writer, I have a dog in this fight, so my opinions may be biased.
