I've traveled for much of my life and realize that I can't ever really be anything else but unsettled. I am currently staying with family who have lived in this very suburb for generations. A tiny piece of me envies them, but then I look more closely and see I couldn't do that anymore than a leopard could change its spots. Their comfort comes at the cost of a much smaller perspective.
